Clinical Solutions Lead – Emergency Medicine

Responsibilities

Lead clinical design workshops with emergency physicians, nurses, and operational stakeholders
Own end-to-end workflow design and solution decisions for the domain
Translate clinical and operational requirements into system design and configuration direction
Drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making in a fast-paced environment
Ensure adherence to Oracle Health (Cerner) methodologies and iterative design cycles
Partner with build/configuration teams to ensure accurate implementation
Identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities within workflows
Act as the primary accountable lead for the assigned clinical domain

Requirements

Domain-Specific Focus (Emergency Medicine)
Design workflows supporting triage, patient tracking boards, and rapid documentation
Configure and optimize order sets, clinical decision support, and emergency protocols
Support high-throughput environments with a focus on speed, visibility, and efficiency
Align workflows with patient flow initiatives (e.g., wait times, throughput, bed management)
Ensure integration with ancillary systems (lab, imaging, pharmacy) for rapid diagnostics and treatment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Oracle Health / Cerner implementation experience
• Experience leading solution design across at least 2 full Oracle Health EHR/HIS/CIS implementations
• Experience supporting workshops/discussions with clinical stakeholders related to Emergency Department workflows
• Strong understanding of high-acuity clinical environments and patient flow
• Proven ability to lead fast-paced design workshops with clinical stakeholders
• Strong communication and facilitation skills

About the Role

On behalf of our Healthcare Client, Affinity Healthcare Solutions is looking for a Clinical Solutions Lead – Emergency Medicine to drive solution design for Emergency Medicine workflows within two Oracle Health (Cerner) environments. This role will focus on high-acuity, fast-paced clinical workflows and optimizing system usability for emergency care delivery.
