Responsibilities

• Offer psychosocial support to help patients and families manage personal, family, and medical challenges.
• Conduct psychosocial and risk assessments, assign diagnoses, and develop tailored intervention and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and community agencies to plan, implement, and follow up on discharge and outpatient care strategies.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work.
• LICSW licensure required in Massachusetts.
• Experience in medical settings and child protection issues is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment and excellent communication skills.
