About the role

Sentara Therapy Center Marina Shores is hiring a Clinical Dietitian for outpatient care. The role involves assessment and nutritional management of acute and chronic diseases such as diabetes and renal conditions. Responsibilities may include individual and group counseling, culinary nutrition, community outreach, public education, and scheduling. You will develop and implement comprehensive care plans based on patient and caregiver needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field
• Must complete an Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) accredited Didactic Program in Dietetics if degree is not in Dietetics
• Registered Dietitian (RD) credential must be obtained within 6 months of hire (verification statements required for candidates awaiting RD credentialing)
• BLS certification
