Clinical Social Worker, MSW EPS e/o weekend Sat/Sun evenings 3-11:30PM

Position Summary/Department Summary Boston Children’s Hospital’s acclaimed Social Work Emergency Services team responds to social needs and issues in the Emergency Department and throughout inpatient services. This includes performing biopsychosocial assessments, as well as implementing trauma-informed, strengths-based interventions. We also provide management and advocacy for both patients and families. We are currently seeking a social worker for our e/o weekend Saturday and Sunday evening position 3-11:30PM Key Responsibilities Providing clinical social work services to assist patients and families with personal, family, medical and environmental difficulties.Performing psychosocial and risk assessments, assigning diagnoses and developing and implementing interventions and treatment plans.Participating in planning and implementation of discharge and outpatient service plans and collaborating with health care team and community agencies to plan, implementing and following up on treatment and provision of needed services. Education Minimum Qualifications A master’s degree in social work Experience: Strong clinical skills and experience with various therapeutic modalities.Previous medical social work experience a plusSpanish language skills are a plus Licensure/Certification: State of MA LCSW or LICSW is required. This position is 100% onsite and eligible for a $1,000 sign on bonus, and additional shift differential pay for working weekend evening hours! This position is every/other weekend Sat and Sun 3-11:30PM* The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting. Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
