Clinical Social Worker, LICSW, Waltham 32 hours

Position/Department Summary: 32-Hour LICSW social work position that will provide a range of clinical social work services and case management to the Waltham Satellite of Boston Children’s Hospital. This satellite offers ambulatory services in over 35 inpatient and outpatient medical specialties plus imaging and laboratory services. This social work position will provide services to the whole site and all specialties. Key Responsibilities:Psychosocial screening and assessmentCounseling, crisis intervention, and facilitation of use of hospital and community servicesActing as a resource information and referral, program development and psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary teams Minimum Qualifications Education:Master’s degree in social work. LICSW licensure in the state of MA is requiredExperience:Flexibility and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skillsExperience in medical environment and with child protection issues helpful Licensure:State of MA LICSW required This position is 32/hours per week, is 100% onsite and based in Waltham (Free parking!) The posted pay range is Boston Children’s reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
