Clinical Social Worker, LICSW

About the Role

Part-time social work role (20 hours) providing clinical social services to children and families within a specialized medical program, potentially at multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team during outpatient visits.
• Support patients and families managing new or chronic conditions, addressing emotional needs and connecting them to community resources.
• Prepare supportive documentation such as school letters and medical necessity letters in collaboration with the team.
• Contribute to program development and participate in team meetings and weekly rounds.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work required.
• At least two years of social work experience, preferably in a medical setting.
• Licensure as LICSW in Massachusetts required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with excellent communication skills.
