Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Corona, Queens

We are expanding services at Plaza del Sol, our Corona-Queens Family Health Center, and seeking a Clinical Therapist (LCSW) to provide clinical assessment and individual therapy for patients.

Responsibilities

• Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
• Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
• Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
• Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
• Provides consultation to medical providers.
• Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• 1-2 years of experience providing counseling.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
• Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that impact health status.

Pay

Starting compensation: $85,000 – $94,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, onsite in Corona, Queens. Monday to Friday shift.
