Job Summary
The Clinical Social Worker (Health/CF) Safety position at Central California Women's Facility in Chowchilla, Madera County, is responsible for conducting assessments, developing and monitoring treatment plans, providing assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences. This position also coordinates placement with community resources and works with the Classification and Parole Representative.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
- Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker in the State of California
- Experience working in a correctional facility setting
- Knowledge of mental health assessment and treatment planning
- Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis and treatment planning
- Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary treatment team
- Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences
- Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment
- Coordinate placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative
Benefits
This position is subject to the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025), which requires a 3% reduction in base salary and 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Recruitment and Retention Bonuses may be available for newly hired clinicians, including a $10,000 one-time stipend and a $20,000 retention differential during the first year.
Pay and Schedule
The authorized HAM rate for this classification is P $8,678 - Q $9,319. Recruitment and Retention Bonuses may be available for newly hired clinicians, including a $10,000 one-time stipend and a $20,000 retention differential during the first year.
