Clinical Social Worker -Calipatria State Prison(CAL)

About the role

This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.

Duties

• Conduct assessments and summarize case information for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Develop, monitor, and modify treatment plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Provide assessments, group therapy, and collateral conferences.
• Document and evaluate patients' progress in treatment.
• Coordinate placement with community resources and the Classification and Parole Representative.

Requirements

• Valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
• Experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans.
• Knowledge of correctional facility settings and mental health interventions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience with group therapy and collateral conferences.
