Job Summary
This advertisement is for a PHYSICAL THERAPIST I position(s) located at CentralCalifornia Women's Facility - Madera County (CCWF), in Chowchilla, CA, located in Madera County.

Duties
- Administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility.
- Interprets to patients the significance of physical therapy services.
- Complies with all the applicable State and federal laws and regulations and departmental policies and procedures pertaining to the physical therapy program.
- Maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated and maintains the safety of persons and property and the security of working areas and work materials.
Qualifications
The Physical Therapist I, CF must have a current license to practice physical therapy in the State of California.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
Must have a minimum of one year of experience in a correctional setting.
Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diverse population.
Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
Must have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must have the ability to lift and move patients as needed.
