Clinical Social Worker (Full-Time)

About the role

The Family Advocacy Intervention Specialist (FAIS) is a key member of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for assessing and treating families referred for suspected maltreatment, providing voluntary prevention services, and delivering community behavioral health education and family violence training.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat families referred for suspected maltreatment
• Provide voluntary prevention services
• Deliver community behavioral health education and family violence training

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited social work program
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an unrestricted State license
• At least two years of post-master’s clinical counseling experience with adults and children affected by family violence
• Experience facilitating group therapy
• Ability to obtain privileges at Military Treatment Facilities and maintain Basic Life Support certification

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Clinical record documentation
• Family Advocacy Program software

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift objects up to 20 pounds
• Standard office equipment use
• Travel may be required
