Clinical Social Worker (Full-Time)

Responsibilities

  • Assess families referred for suspected maltreatment and provide treatment for individuals, families, and groups meeting maltreatment criteria.
  • Offer voluntary, comprehensive prevention services, primarily home-based, to prevent family maltreatment.
  • Provide prevention counseling to at-risk individuals, families, or groups.
  • Develop and implement secondary prevention programs and deliver community behavioral health and family violence education and training.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Master’s degree from an accredited school in social work.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker with an active, unrestricted license.
  • At least two years’ post-master’s clinical counseling experience with adults and children experiencing family violence.
  • Experience facilitating group therapy.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and specialized family advocacy software.
  • Ability to obtain privileges at military treatment facilities and maintain Basic Life Support certification.

Additional Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and transportation.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including sitting, standing, walking, and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Able to work in a standard office environment with potential local and out-of-area travel.
  • Must obtain and uphold a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) security clearance.
