Responsibilities

• Licensed Social Work Clinical Practice:
  • Interact professionally and with persons of all ages and from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, educational, racial and ethnic backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, lifestyles, and physical abilities.
• Professional Development:
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge base and skill set through educational opportunities and meet expectations set forth by State licensure, Hospital and departmental standards.

Qualifications

• EDUCATION: Master's Degree from an accredited school of social work.
• Experience: For Connecticut, consistent with LCSW licensure requirements, 3,000 hours of post-masters social work experience and 100 hours of post-masters clinical supervision. For Rhode Island, consistent with LICSW licensure requirements, 24 months of experience licensed as a licensed clinical social worker under appropriate supervision.
• LICENSURE: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the State of Connecticut, or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) from the State of Rhode Island, or those holding licenses from other states, will need an 'endorsement' and meet the State of Connecticut or State of Rhode Island license requirements.
