Responsibilities
- Supports the Practice and Clinical Manager with the day-to-day operational needs
- Staffing, assuring appropriate coverage, providing backup as needed
- Physician room assignments, ongoing
- Office and medical supply inventory management
- Provider schedules
- Regularly reviewing work processes to ensure the efficiency of workflow, implementing best practices
- Works with Manager to establish, implement, and maintain practice policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with quality and safety, and regulatory requirements
- Supports patient transitions (direct admits, procedure scheduling, bed management, and partnership with Penn Transfer System and designated hospital)
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant (MA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
- 5+ years Outpatient clinic experience required
- 3+ years of experience with direct reports is preferred

Direct oversight to the ancillary staff, recruitment and retention of staff, clear definition of work expectations, real-time feedback, addressing challenges and skill deficits, encouraging continuous growth and change management, appropriate clinical credentials, filling planned and unplanned MA vacancies.
