About the role
Join our team as a Clinical Services, Specimen Processor (PIT). We are seeking an experienced individual to process clinical specimens according to established protocols.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and process clinical specimens for testing
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with laboratory procedures
- Document all activities in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with other lab staff to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in specimen processing
- Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Qualifications
- Experience with laboratory equipment and instruments
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of electronic health records systems
- Basic understanding of medical terminology
