Clinical Safety Officer
Responsibilities
- Oversight of clinical trial participant safety and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Execution of tasks in accordance with study protocol, Good Clinical Practices (GCP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Maintenance of confidentiality for clinical trial participants and sponsors.
- Monitoring, documentation, and follow-up on participant adverse events.
- Continuous assessment of safety improvement opportunities and communication of findings to departmental management.
- Performance of clinical trial activities including continuous monitoring, safety assessments, Investigational Product (IP) administration, and catheter installation.
Essential Skills
- Availability for at least 4 shifts per month, with each shift being at least 4 hours in length.
- Pre-screening patients, patient recruitment, safety assessments, chart review, and clinical research skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No clinical research experience required.
- ACLS or BLS certification preferred, but training will be provided if not already obtained.
Work Environment
This position operates in a clinical research unit located in a suburb of Kansas. The role will require flexible scheduling based on business needs and availability, without guaranteed hours. Employees are expected to follow proper call-off procedures in case of unavailability due to vacations, illness, or family emergencies.

Pay And Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00/hr.
