Clinical RN - High-Risk Cardiology (Night Shift)

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in a high-risk cardiology unit, assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality standards, and regulatory compliance while engaging in ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Developing and documenting individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Ensuring effective communication of care plans across the continuum.
• Maintaining a safe environment, adhering to standards of nursing care, and working alertly in a safety-sensitive role.

Requirements

Education

• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Licenses & Certifications

• Valid RN license required.

Experience

• No experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred.
