About the role

The Clinical Resource RN at NorthBay Health assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individual patient care. This role is integral to the health care team, working to ensure safety, continuity, and comprehensiveness of care.

Responsibilities

  • Administers infusion protocols
  • Maintains patient safety during and after treatments
  • Affirms patient needs through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Manages symptoms related to treatments

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school or college
  • Current California RN license
  • Current AHA or equivalent BLS certification
  • ACLS certification preferred within 3 months of hire
  • Telemetry experience preferred
  • IV Skills required
  • One year of recent RN experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting
  • Recent cardiology experience preferred

Qualifications

  • BSN or ADN with 5 years of experience required
  • Master's degree in Nursing preferred

Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Knowledge of office equipment and basic computer skills
  • Knowledge of Cerner desirable
  • Knowledge of an electronic health record
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and professional standards

Compensation Structure

Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements.
