Clinical Research Regulatory Specialist

Join Sarasota Memorial Health Care System’s Kolschowsky and Research Institute and play a critical role in supporting groundbreaking clinical research initiatives that improve patient care and medical innovation.

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate administration of regulatory compliance of clinical research
• Processing all Human Research Protection Program documentation, including Research Resource & Feasibility Committee and Institutional Review Board
• Informing leadership and staff regarding regulatory status for all clinical trials conducted through SMH Clinical Research
• Work with some degree of independence while maintaining high commitment to quality, attention to detail, excellent patient care and customer service skills, and manage multiple protocols at a time
• Show organizational and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field or six (6) years of relevant experience in clinical research
• Human Research Protection Training
• Preferred: Master’s degree in a healthcare related field
• Preferred: Effective training and organization skills
• Preferred: Clinical Research Certification (From ACRP or SOCRA)
• Preferred: One (1) year of experience in clinical research or health-related field
• Preferred: Demonstrated ability to create excitement, camaraderie and the desire for excellence
• Preferred: Demonstrated expertise with regulatory and compliance issues concerning clinical research

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a healthcare related field
