About the role
The Research Regulatory Specialist at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is responsible for completing documentation for Institutional Review Board (IRB) and Sentara specific regulatory compliance. This includes maintaining regulatory files throughout the duration of the study and archiving at study closure. Additionally, the role involves preparing regulatory documents for internal and external audits.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) required
- Candidate with 5 years in clinical research or healthcare administration may be accepted in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of experience required in Clinical Research or Healthcare Administration
Qualifications
- Candidate must have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards
- Experience in medical research, clinical trials, or healthcare administration is preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
