Clinical Research Nurse Coordinator

About the role

The Clinical Research Nurse supports clinical research projects by coordinating projects and drug trials, assessing patients' qualifications, and facilitating protocols. They collect and review lab results, patient data, and lab specimens; administer medications and protocol-specific treatments. Duties also include performing general laboratory duties and specialized nursing duties, training new staff, and ensuring regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting and coordinating participants
• Conducting monthly study visits
• Administering intravenous medications and infusions (including IV insertion)
• Performing health and function assessments
• Collecting and processing biological samples
• Scheduling and coordinating appointments
• Educating participants on study procedures
• Providing ongoing guidance and support

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and vehicle required to travel to long-term care facilities
• Must be able to make multiple stops in one day

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• 2+ years of relevant experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Benefits

This position is part-time with the expectation of transitioning to full-time status near the end of 2026/early 2027.
