Full-time onsite role with daytime weekday hours and no evenings, weekends, or on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage Phase II-IV clinical trials
- Screen and enroll eligible study participants
- Conduct informed consent discussions
- Review medical records and verify eligibility criteria
- Ensure strict protocol compliance and accurate documentation
- Maintain complete regulatory and study documentation
- Perform clinical procedures including blood draws, specimen processing, and vaccine administration (training available)
- Maintain investigational product accountability
- Coordinate protocol-required laboratory testing, medications, and follow-up visits
- Report adverse events within required timelines
- Communicate effectively with investigators, sponsors, monitors, and study participants
- Participate in sponsor visits and site meetings
- Assist with study start-up, participant recruitment, and retention efforts
- Mentor and assist with training new research staff when needed
- Limited travel to nearby locations may occasionally be required
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 1 year of Clinical Research Coordinator experience
- Minimum 1 year of direct patient care experience
- Experience coordinating Phase II-IV clinical trials
- Strong understanding of GCP and clinical research regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously
Preferred
- CCMA certification (or willingness to obtain after hire)
- Blood draw/phlebotomy experience
- BLS certification
- GCP training/certification
- IATA certification
- Pediatric research experience (for pediatric-focused opening)
