About the Role

The Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator IV (CRC IV) within the Division of Cardiology. This position supports a rapidly growing career in clinical research, working under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Research to coordinate projects and manage daily operations.

The CRC IV ensures the successful implementation of and adherence to clinical research protocols, meeting national and local milestones in planning, administration, timeline management, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting. This role involves collaboration across various divisions, mentoring junior coordinators, and close interaction with faculty leading research activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination and support for clinical research daily operations.
  • Ensure adherence to clinical research protocols and milestones, including planning, administration, timeline management, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting.
  • Support clinical research activities across multiple divisions within the department.
  • Mentor junior coordinators and serve as a resource for all aspects of conducting clinical trials, including complex and multi-center trials.
  • Demonstrate superior competence in clinical research skills, problem-solving, and priority setting.
  • Work closely with faculty members leading research initiatives.

Requirements
