Clinical Research Coordinator II, Department of Internal Medicine – Cardiology (Phoenix)

About the role

The Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) to support the Division of Cardiology. The selected individual will work under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Research, providing project coordination and supporting daily clinical research operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure successful implementation of and adherence to clinical research protocols and national/local milestones.
• Manage planning, administration, timeline management, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting.
• Support clinical research activities across various Institutes, including creating and populating databases.
• Collaborate closely with faculty members leading research activities.
• Demonstrate competence in clinical research skills, problem-solving, and priority setting.
• Serve as a resource for others in conducting clinical trials, including complex and multi-center trials.
• Perform intermittent off-campus visits as required.
