Clinical Research Coordinator II, Department of Internal Medicine (COM-Phoenix)
About the role
The Department of Internal Medicine at The University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator II (CRC II) to support clinical research operations under the supervision of the Internal Medicine Manager of Clinical Research. This role involves project coordination, protocol adherence, and management of national and local milestones for planning, administration, timeline management, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting.
The CRC II will contribute to the clinical research activities of various Institutes, including database creation and management, and collaborate closely with faculty members leading research initiatives. The position requires demonstrated competence in clinical research skills, problem-solving, and priority setting, serving as a resource for complex, multi-center clinical trials. Intermittent off-campus visits may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide project coordination and support for daily clinical research operations.
- Ensure adherence to clinical research protocols and national/local milestones.
- Manage timelines, enrollment, participant engagement, data collection, and reporting.
- Support clinical research activities across Institutes, including database creation and population.
- Collaborate with faculty members leading research initiatives.
- Demonstrate expertise in clinical research skills, problem-solving, and priority setting.
- Serve as a resource for conducting complex, multi-center clinical trials.
