Clinical Research Coordinator III, Various Departments

This is an onsite, full-time position located in Cincinnati, Ohio.

About the Role

Clinical Research Coordinators (CRCs) may coordinate participant recruitment and enrollment, conduct study visits, manage regulatory documentation, collect and process research specimens, oversee study data, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with research protocols and regulatory requirements. Research opportunities may be available in areas including:

• Biorepository and Specimen-Based Research

Specific responsibilities, study complexity, and required experience will vary by position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating day-to-day research study activities
• Recruiting, screening, consenting, and retaining study participants
• Scheduling and conducting study visits
• Maintaining research records and source documentation
• Managing regulatory submissions and study approvals
• Entering and validating study data in electronic databases
• Collecting, processing, and shipping research specimens
• Collaborating with investigators, sponsors, clinical teams, and research participants
• Supporting study monitoring visits, audits, and quality assurance activities
• Ensuring compliance with protocols, institutional policies, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, healthcare, public health, psychology, or related field AND at least one year of related work experience OR a Master’s degree
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

• Electronic data capture systems (REDCap, Medidata, OnCore, or similar)
• Specimen processing and biobanking

Pay

Expected starting pay range: $56,784.00 – $62,150.40. Starting pay is based on experience, skills, and equity; exceptions may apply for highly qualified candidates. Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply. Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
