About the role

The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator, under the supervision of the Site Director, ensures the integrity and quality of clinical research conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice Guidelines. This role manages study conduct from planning through study closeout at the San Diego office.

Type: Regular Full-time Employee
Location: Onsite in San Diego, CA (no remote or hybrid capabilities)

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Pharmaceutical Sponsor/Industry-initiated FDA studies to conduct research with excellent quality
  • Manage all aspects of a study, including:
    • Participating in the informed consent process
    • Coordinating and performing all visit study procedures per protocol
    • Entering data and resolving queries
    • Investigational Product management
    • Managing study-related supplies and equipment
    • Hosting monitoring visits
    • Attending Investigator Meetings
  • Provide the highest level of care for study patients and deliver excellent customer service to Pharmaceutical clients
  • Assist with lab draws, processing, and shipping
  • Supervise direct reports as required
  • Adapt to changing duties, responsibilities, or new assignments as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum five plus (5+) years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator required
  • Experience supervising other employees strongly preferred
  • Medical assistant or phlebotomist certification required
  • Commitment and ability to deliver excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Extremely well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual
  • Mature and pleasant demeanor
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and grow with the company

Pay

$70,304–$75,000/year, dependent upon years of experience, licenses, certifications, and education pertinent to the role.

Schedule

  • Monday & Thursday: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
