About the role

To aid in support of clinical research within the State of Ohio Adversity and Resilience (SOAR) initiative. SOAR is a state of the art, multigenerational study of family/ household units that focuses on a bio-psycho-socio-environmental (BioPSE) model of the risk for, expression of, and protection from persistent distress, suicide, and overdose.

Responsibilities

- Participate in recruitment and consent of study participants. - Perform behavioral or diagnostic testing. - Process biospecimen samples. - Collect biometric specimens and data. - Collect, maintain & report clinical research data.

Requirements

Minimum Education Required: - Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in biological sciences, health sciences, or medical field. - 0 years of relevant experience required. - 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or medical field, or equivalent combination of education experience. - Experience in research capacity desired. - Knowledge or experience in a specialty may be desired. - Experience in phlebotomy may be desired. - Experience performing basic laboratory procedures to process biological specimens may be desired. - Computer skill required with knowledge of database software applications desired.
