CLINICAL RESCUE NURSE COORD-Resuscitation and ECMO Program- 36HR Shift (11a-11p and 6p-6a weekend rotation required)

Responsibilities

• Rounds on all units and uses automated surveillance systems to monitor and engage with bedside staff to identify patients possibly at risk for clinical deterioration.
• Serves as an expert clinical resource to provide education and debriefing after an RRT/Code event has occurred.
• Conducts monitoring on patients downgraded out of Intensive Care Units to lower acuity units.
• Provides educational in-services as appropriate.
• Provides tracking, data collection and monitoring of metrics used to measure the productivity and quality of care delivered in all areas of the program.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Required
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required or combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Required experience: 5 years experience as a RN in an Acute Care setting, 3 years experience as a RN in critical care, pre-hospital or emergency nursing
• Licenses: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Required, Basic Life Support Required, PA Registered Nurse License Required or Multi State Compact RN License Required
• Certifications: Critical Care RN Preferred or Cert Emergency Nurse Preferred
