About the role
The Clinical Recruiter at Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health plays a critical role in attracting, engaging, placing, and supporting exceptional nurses who align with our mission and HALOS values. This position combines recruiting, relationship management, staffing coordination, and operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, source, and engage nurses and clinicians through applicant flow, outbound recruiting, referrals, networking, social media, and proactive outreach.
- Create strong clinician relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience through professional, timely, and consistent communication.
- Match clinicians to appropriate client opportunities based on clinical fit, availability, location, schedule preferences, and staffing needs.
- Discuss schedules, case opportunities, compensation/pay rates, and placement details with candidates professionally and confidently.
- Manage candidate progression from initial contact through onboarding and successful first shift placement while maintaining urgency and reducing candidate drop-off.
- Partner closely with branch teams on staffing priorities, urgent needs, schedule changes, and clinician placement.
- Support branch staffing success by helping fill new and existing client needs with qualified, reliable clinicians.
- Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up within recruiting, applicant tracking, and scheduling systems.
- Collaborate with Recruiting Administrators on scheduling, onboarding coordination, and follow-up tasks while maintaining ownership and accountability for candidate progression and staffing outcomes.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while responding quickly and professionally to staffing challenges, schedule changes, candidate concerns, and operational priorities.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, scheduling, operations coordination, workforce coordination, account management, or another relationship-based role.
- Strong computer proficiency including ATS/CRM systems, Outlook, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments and managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
- Experience communicating with employees, clinicians, clients, or customers throughout the day via phone, text, and email.
- Experience discussing schedules, staffing needs, compensation, or placement opportunities preferred; home health, healthcare staffing, service industry operations, or workforce management experience is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Management, Marketing, or related field preferred.
