About the role

The full-time, non-exempt Dental Clinical Receptionist reports to the Dental Services Administrator. The role plays a crucial part in the high-performing dental care team at Honor Community Health, serving as the primary point of contact for patients during their visits.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a culture of excellence and dedication to providing compassionate and high-quality dental care to all.
  • Works collaboratively with the dental care team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Handles administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with patients.
  • Ensures a positive and welcoming environment for all patients.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 6+ months of experience in customer service or clinical receptionist is required.
  • Strong computer skills utilizing Electronic health records (NextGen preferred) and Microsoft office.
  • A compassionate and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create an excellent patient experience.
  • Patient focused mindset.
  • Willingness to work between other locations when needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
