Clinical Psychology (PsyD) Program - Adjunct
About the role
D'Youville University's PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach graduate-level courses in our doctoral program. We have immediate openings for Fall 2025 and are building a pool of qualified candidates for future part-time teaching opportunities. Required classes meet during the day on weekdays, but there is some opportunity to offer electives in the evenings.
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned graduate courses in accordance with program curriculum and APA accreditation standards
- Develop and maintain current course materials, syllabi, and assessments in collaboration with full-time faculty course coordinator
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to doctoral students
- Support the program's mission of training competent clinical psychologists
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological assessment and psychometrics
- Strong understanding of psychometric principles and statistical foundations of testing
- Previous teaching experience at the graduate level preferred
- For the cognitive assessment course, experience with cognitive assessment instruments (WAIS-5, WISC-5, WIAT)
