Responsibilities
- Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
- Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
- Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
- Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
- Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Basic Requirement: Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
- Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Licensure: Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.
