Clinical Psychologist - Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

Responsibilities

• Congducting diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning for newly referred patients
• Provision of individual and group psychotherapy
• Collaboration with physicians and other multidisciplinary staff for direct patient care
• Collection of outcome data related to clinical care
• Engagement in community outreach
• Participation in departmental meetings and activities
• Participation in training, supervision, and consultation activities
• Maintenance of charts on all clients in accordance with Quality Assurance policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in clinical psychology from an APA-approved graduate program
• Experience maintaining a clinical role in a child and adolescent outpatient practice
• Have been trained in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT)
• Embrace a biopsychosocial model of understanding and treating psychiatric illness
• Commitment to program development
