Child & Adolescent Psychologist
Responsibilities
Direct patient care (at least 90% effort) including diagnostic evaluations, individual and group psychotherapy and non-clinical activities (up to 10% effort) which can include research/academic activities.
Qualifications
- PhD/PsyD (or foreign equivalent) in Clinical Psychology from APA-accredited program or PCSAS-accredited program.
- Experience in working with children and adolescents.
- Experience with empirically based treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT and ACT.
- New York State license of eligibility.
- Must have already passed the EPPP (Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology) at the time of applying for the position.
- Will have completed all post-doctoral clinical hours prior to employment start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical experience in group and family therapies with children and adolescents.
- Experience in child and adolescent outpatient psychiatry programs working with a diversity of psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions including autism spectrum disorder.
- Post-doctoral fellowship in Child Psychology.
- Track record of research and teaching/supervision experience.

FULL-TIME schedule totaling forty hours 5 days per week, including the possibility of evening hours; hybrid work schedule including appointments via telehealth.
