Clinical Program Therapist 2 - Sex Offender Treatment Program

About the role

The Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) is designed to provide therapeutic interventions to individuals who have been convicted of sex offenses. This role involves providing clinical services within a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement various treatments and protocols to guide clients through their treatment processes.
• Continuously assess client situations and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Document client progress meticulously and maintain detailed, timely, and comprehensive notes on all sessions.
• Create and implement individual treatment plans based on assessment data.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science field, with one year of experience providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy.
• Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science program.
• Current Minnesota licensure as an LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT.
• Experience providing sex offense treatment services to clients.
• Experience working in a correctional/secured environment.
• Experience providing services to clients with intellectual disabilities.
• Experience providing services to clients diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
• Experience providing services to clients with a substance use disorder.

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficient documentation skills. Interpersonal and human relations skills are also important. Knowledge of behavioral health treatment practices and standards, and the ability to create and carry out individualized and continuing care plans under supervision are necessary.

Pay

$28.75 - $42.16 / hourly; $60,030 - $88,030 / annually

Schedule

Day Shift: 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday - Friday
