About the role
The Sex Offender Treatment Program (SOTP) at the Lino Lakes facility is seeking a Clinical Program Therapist 2 to provide clients with security, assessment, education, and therapeutic programming.
Responsibilities
- Implement various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client’s situations.
- Continually assess client situations and provide proper ongoing treatment.
- Document client progress and maintain concise, timely, and adequate notes on all client sessions.
- Develop and implement individual treatment plans based on information gathered in assessments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science field, AND One year of experience providing behavioral health services, including individual and group therapy.
- OR Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family, Counseling, or a related Behavioral Health/Science program.
- Current Minnesota licensure as an LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT.
- Experience providing sex offense treatment services to clients.
- Experience working in a correctional/secured environment.
- Experience providing services to clients with intellectual disabilities.
- Experience providing services to clients diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI).
- Experience providing services to clients with a substance use disorder.
