Clinical Program Manager, Behavioral Health
About the role
As a Clinical Program Manager at Beckett Springs, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the program, providing oversight to staff, communicating issues, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provides feedback through performance evaluations and counseling/corrective actions
- Communicates ongoing issues with programming, staffing, marketing, and business to the Director of Clinical Services
- Interfaces with various stakeholders to ensure physician follow-ups, regulatory requirements, and patient satisfaction
- Maintains positive relationships with referral sources, community agencies, and organizations
- Ensures all therapeutic interventions are performed and documented according to professional standards
- Oversees the transportation program to ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies
- Trains, mentors, and supervises departmental therapists
- Collaborates with hospital/facility departments to ensure seamless care and identify access barriers
- Maintains patient safety by monitoring them regularly
Requirements
- Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- Current, unencumbered clinical, social work, or counseling license required by state regulations
- Previous experience in an outpatient partial hospital program and/or IP preferred
- A knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days
Qualifications
Applicants should have a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field required. Current, unencumbered clinical, social work or counseling, license required by state regulations. Additional requirements include previous experience in an outpatient partial hospital program and/or IP, a knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, and CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days.
Skills
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills are essential. Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles, as well as experience in managing outpatient partial hospital programs, are also highly valued.
