Clinical Program Manager

About the role

The Program Manager at Valeris is responsible for overseeing the execution of programs that enhance the patient experience and support the commercialization of new products. Valeris is dedicated to improving access to critical medications and providing comprehensive solutions across the healthcare value chain.

Responsibilities

• Understands client objectives and incorporates them into program service goals
• Ensures compliance with contracted service level agreements
• Manages client service request queue, ensuring timely completion and resolution
• Develops and implements business rules specific to clients
• Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Evaluates data to provide actionable insights that drive the program forward
• Maintains financial forecasts and prepares weekly updates
• Prepares activity summaries for client invoices
• Selects, hires, trains, and develops team members
• Supports client operations by preparing and reviewing operational metrics and data insights
• Acts as the primary point of contact for program/operational inquiries and issues

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, Master’s degree preferred
• Previous personnel/team management experience, including experience managing managers
• Knowledge of the specialty drug product marketplace, health insurance claims processing, and commercialization of products
• Experience leading customer service teams
• Bi-lingual in English and Spanish or Chinese/Mandarin
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to engage and motivate a team
• Technical proficiency in understanding complex platforms and data
• Analytical mindset with the ability to draw actionable insights from program data
• Initiative and commitment to team and organizational goals
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to handle potentially stressful interactions
• Ability to manage a large team, including multiple supervisors
