Role Overview

Seeking an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to support a multidisciplinary solid tumor team. The role involves providing expert oncology pharmacotherapy support, patient and caregiver education, and contributing to cancer treatment advancements in a collaborative academic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient health status and medication profiles to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor therapies, document activities, and communicate effectively.
• Participate in professional development, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy staff, residents, and students.
• Assist in drug cost reduction programs and contribute to pharmaceutical care programs.

Qualifications & Skills

• Doctorate in Pharmacy (PharmD).
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy experience; 2-5 years preferred.
• Licensed in Medication Therapy Services in MO and registered as RPh.
• Strong clinical, communication, and collaboration skills in oncology.

Schedule

• Work Monday to Friday, days, with some weekends.
