Clinical Pharmacist Outpatient

Job Summary Seeking an Outpatient Pharmacy Manager to oversee pharmacy operations in a community outpatient and retail setting. Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders for safety and appropriateness, ensuring timely preparation and delivery of medications, providing patient counseling, and maintaining regulatory compliance. Supervises pharmacy staff, including interns and technicians, and offers clinical consultation to healthcare professionals. Identifies process improvements, safety hazards, and supports hospital and system initiatives to enhance patient care and operational efficiency. Requires a Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, valid licensure, knowledge of pharmacy laws, and strong communication and management skills. Preferred candidates have experience in integrated healthcare systems, board certification, or residency. This role involves approximately 10 hours weekly, with a focus on collaborative, patient-centered care in a growing outpatient pharmacy program.
