Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient Operations

This role is eligible for a sign on bonus of $10,000 to $15,000 and up to $5,000 in relocation reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide range of care areas including 60 nursing units, 80 operating rooms, 4 PACUs and 10 cath labs.
• Ensure patients receive medications accurately, safely and on time.
• Verify medication orders and/or dispense medications accurately according to state and federal regulations.
• Document services in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
• Contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with national accreditation standards.
• Direct staff appropriately to provide safe and efficient care and maintain professional working relationships with all caregivers.
• Train students, residents, other caregivers and/or patients.

Requirements

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
• Current State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation in current state within 90 days of hire.
• Completion of a Post-Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship or relevant post-graduate pharmacy experience.

Preferred qualifications

• Board Certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged times, approximately 75% of shift and continuously for extended periods of time.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to perform computer and dispensing functions of the job; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Reach, stretch, stoop, climb steps and sit.
• Normal or corrected vision.
• Ability to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.

Pay Range

Minimum Annual Salary: $101,900.00
Maximum Annual Salary: $155,390.00
