About the role

This Pharmacist position involves providing safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing evidence-based care plans, and monitoring patient outcomes to enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care within a designated patient care area.
• Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders, review patient profiles for safety and interactions.
• Recommend formulary alternatives and advise medical staff on drug therapy issues.
• Monitor lab results, provide drug information, and conduct patient discharge consultations.
• Collaborate with medical teams, make rounds, calculate dosages, and verify prescriptions.
• Prepare medications, supervise pharmacy staff and students, and coordinate pharmacy activities.
• Assist in policy review and ensure compliance with departmental standards.
• Work is performed in a clinical setting, emphasizing teamwork, accuracy, and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (required), Doctoral Degree preferred.
