Clinical Pharmacist

About the Role

The Clinical Pharmacist at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland works at the center of interdisciplinary care, collaborating directly with prescribers and mentoring pharmacy support staff within the in-patient hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of medication preparation and dispensing
• Medication order verification and computer entry in the pharmacy information system
• Providing clinical consultation to physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals on drug selection, dosing, and interactions
• Identifying, recommending, resolving, and preventing medication-related problems through direct interventions with prescribers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) required
• Current Registered Pharmacist licensure in the State of Maryland required
• New graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply; inpatient or hospital pharmacy experience preferred for experienced candidates
