Pharmacist
The State of Oklahoma is seeking a Pharmacist to join the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services team at GMH - Pharmacy Services.
About the role
As a Pharmacist in this role, you will provide medication management services to patients in a mental health and substance abuse setting. You will work closely with healthcare providers to ensure appropriate medication dosages and schedules are followed.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and monitor patient response to treatment
- Provide medication counseling and education to patients and their families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding medication administration and storage
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately and timely
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma State Pharmacist License
- Experience in mental health and/or substance abuse settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
- Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency program (preferred)

- Knowledge of pharmacology and drug therapy
- Proficiency in electronic health records systems

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
