As a Clinical Pathologist, you will provide expert diagnostic pathology services by evaluating clinical pathology specimens and delivering accurate, timely diagnostic interpretations to veterinary clients. Responsibilities
- Examine clinical pathology specimens and provide accurate diagnostic evaluations for veterinary clients.
- Deliver high-quality pathology reports while maintaining strong turnaround time performance and adherence to best practices.
- Provide consultation and follow-up support to help clients understand diagnostic findings and patient care implications.
- Contribute to a culture of quality by maintaining a high level of diagnostic accuracy and participating in peer collaboration when appropriate.
- Continuously expand your clinical pathology expertise through continuing education, professional development, and application of new knowledge.
- Actively participate in pathology rounds, team meetings, committees, and collaborative discussions that improve outcomes and strengthen service delivery.
- Contribute to educational, research, customer-focused, and project-related initiatives across the pathology organization.

Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent veterinary qualification.
- Board certification from the American College of Veterinary Pathology (ACVP) or European College of Veterinary Clinical Pathology (ECVCP).
- Strong expertise in clinical pathology and interpretation of diagnostic specimens.
- Ability to provide accurate, detailed, and timely diagnostic evaluations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Comfort working independently while collaborating with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with current topics, developments, and issues in clinical veterinary medicine.
- Service-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
- Ability to participate in a weekend coverage schedule, including a commitment to work one weekend day as part of your weekly schedule.

Pay
Starting salary: $144,000 per year. Opportunity for annual cash bonus.
Schedule
Includes a commitment to work one weekend day as part of your weekly schedule.
