About the role

Provide compassionate spiritual support to patients, families, and staff, ensuring emotional needs are met during challenging clinical journeys.
Facilitate meaningful worship and outreach services to foster a sense of community and peace for diverse faith groups within the facility.
Lead crisis and bereavement interventions to offer immediate comfort and stability to those navigating loss or traumatic events.
Engage in the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) curriculum to continuously refine your ministerial identity and improve the quality of care provided to the community.
Document patient care journeys to ensure spiritual interventions are integrated into the high-quality, holistic records of the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Master's degree in a Theology, Spirituality or related field preferred.
  • One unit of Clinical Pastoral Education accredited by ACPE is preferred.
  • Ordination or equivalency in faith group is preferred.
  • Three years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be able to travel up to 20% of the time.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of various religious traditions and practices.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare information systems.

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.
