About the Role
The Clinical Partner (CP) provides basic technical nursing skills (deemed competent) and delegated tasks (e.g., wound care, discontinuing a saline lock, discontinuing a Foley catheter) under the direction and/or supervision of the registered nurse in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act, Florida Statutes, and BHSF policy. The CP is a valued member of the nursing team who works in close collaboration with the assigned RN to provide safe and quality patient-centered care.
Examples of nursing activities that cannot be delegated to unlicensed assistive personnel include assessment and evaluation of the impact of interventions on care provided to the patient.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic technical nursing skills and delegated tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide safe and quality patient-centered care.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent training/experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; 2 years preferred.
- Previous experience as a CNA or LPN in an acute care facility in the state of Florida is preferred.

Pay
Estimated pay range for this position is $17.79 - $23.13 per hour, depending on experience.
