Clinical Operations Supervisor – Med Surg

Role Overview: The Clinical Supervisor RN ensures safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient care by leading and mentoring nursing staff. They collaborate with administrative personnel, physicians, and co-workers to optimize processes, manage patient flow, and ensure adequate staffing. Key Responsibilities: They model professional standards, promote a positive attitude, and inspire change through mentorship and servant leadership. The supervisor holds staff accountable for professional responsibilities, adherence to policies, and regulatory guidelines. They participate in staff evaluation processes and support continuous improvement within the unit. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a graduate from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure, and 3-5 years of hospital nursing experience. Certification in healthcare provider skills (e.g., BLS, TNCC, ACLS) is necessary, with a preference for a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Demonstrates strong communication, clinical competence, and data assessment skills. Key Duties: Oversee patient care delivery, manage staffing and patient flow, foster team development, and ensure compliance with standards. Actively participate in unit and organizational initiatives to enhance care quality and staff engagement.
