Job Summary The Reporting and Clinical Operations Specialist is part of the Reporting and Clinical Laboratory Operations team at RCIGM. They are responsible for ensuring accurate genomic reporting, the development and maintenance of reporting and clinical operations policies, and serving as a liaison between cross-functional groups at RCIGM on genomic curation and reporting processes. This position must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be exceptionally attentive to detail, be able to multitask and manage priorities while meeting deadlines. Minimum Qualifications 2 Years of Experience Masters' Degree in Genetic Counseling or Human Genetics Must obtain CA Genetic Counselor license within 3-months of hire and board eligible or certified by the American Board of Genetic Counseling Familiar with next generation sequencing (NGS) – targeted panels, whole exome sequencing, or whole genome sequencing Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment Preferred Qualifications 3 Years of Experience Computer skills including experience analyzing and interpreting Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) data in a clinical laboratory environment Experience in communicating genomic results to the ordering provider Experience with drafting/writing reports The current salary range for this position is $43.56 to $59.91 Rady Children’s Hospital is committed to compensation that is externally competitive and internally equitable.
